An Elegant Weapon for a More Civilized Age (Quiz)
You were destined to have a Red Lightsaber.
Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is
associated with energy, war, danger, strength,
power, and determination as well as passion and
desire. You have seen the Strength and Power of
the Dark Side of the Force and have you thirst
for more of it.

It's In the Numbers (Quiz)
You Are the Reformer |
1 You're a responsible person - with a clear sense of right and wrong. High standards are important to you, and you do everything to meet them. You are your own worst critic, feeling ashamed if you're not perfect. You have the highest integrity, and people expect you to be fair. |

A Fresh Useless Quiz
This one is pretty accurate I think...
MATT
You Are From Saturn |
You're steady, organizes, and determined to achieve your dreams. You tend to play it conservative, going by the rules (at least the practical ones). You'll likely reach the top. And when you do, you'll be honorable and responsible. Focus on happiness. Don't let your goals distract you from fun! Don't be too set in your ways, and you'll be more of a success than you ever dreamed of. |

Life Update
Well, things have been going pretty well as of late. A couple weeks back, I got another raise at work...which is fantastic considering what little that I actually do there.
Got a real nice start on the Friday column for the MVCA. I think its done actually...I'll polish it a bit in the next couple of days, but I love it when they come together this easily.
The show is on a bit of a hiatus until the first Saturday in December, but that doesn't mean we're not busy with show prep/work. Now that the election is over, I have to come up with a whole new set of "shorts" to use for our breaks/set changes. Anybody got any ideas?
WMD: The Blog is really doing well. We've made about $100 in advertising this year...nice little start...the number of folks linking to us is up...our number of hits is going through the roof...Mark and I really couldn't be happier with the way things are progressing.
Interesting developments abound in SOC...more details as they develop...
I've been playing a "World Series of Poker" game on my PC. Finally I won the whole thing last weekend, and have subsequently won a couple of satellite tournaments as well. I love playing this game because it is difficult to win, but it isn't like playing for real...still doing well there actually (up just over $100 since we started playing the home game). Gotta get another tournament together...probably this weekend.
Anyway...that's what's going on.....

Article Update
My weekly article for the Miami Valley Conservative Alliance is up at their place.
While we're on the subject of MVCA, Brian Duffy has two great pieces you should check out: one on Ashcroft and the other on Specter.

11/13 Update
Some fascinating conversation has been struck up on my article... Immigration. Various alternative tax policies. The importance of judicial nominees. And even a liberal wackjob! This post has EVERYTHING!MATT
